At the heart of this project is a simple belief: solidarity should be active, not passive.
The Saoirse Balaclava was created to bring together Irish culture, community spirit, and meaningful action. Each piece is carefully handmade from 100% acrylic and embroidered with the word Saoirse, meaning Freedom in Gaeilge, using the ancient Ogham script. Every stitch carries a message that extends far beyond clothing.
Our work is inspired by the idea that ordinary people can stand together across borders, cultures, and struggles. What you wear can become a symbol of identity, resistance, and collective support for those facing hardship.
That is why 40% of every purchase goes directly toward supporting critical medical care in Gaza through Nurse Salah. These contributions help provide treatment, supplies, and support to people living under extremely difficult conditions.
We do not see this as charity. We see it as international solidarity, where communities support one another through meaningful action. Every balaclava represents a commitment to freedom, human dignity, and the belief that people everywhere deserve safety, care, and hope.
More than merchandise, this is a community-driven project built on purpose, craftsmanship, and shared values. Every piece is made by hand. Every purchase carries impact. Every wearer becomes part of a wider story.
Wear Saoirse. Fund survival. Stand with Gaza.
